Description
These are generic CO sensors used as the pin-to-pin replacement of the standard 4-series electrochemical sensors. It is used throughout many gas detector brands and is an excellent CO gas sensor replacement element.
Our CO carbon monoxide gas detection sensor utilizes constant-potential electrolysis technology. When carbon monoxide and oxygen interact with the sensor, they undergo oxidation-reduction reactions at both the working and counter electrodes, releasing charges that generate a measurable current. This current is directly proportional to the carbon monoxide concentration present—the higher the current, the higher the CO level. By precisely measuring this electrical response, our sensor provides accurate and reliable detection of carbon monoxide concentrations for enhanced safety monitoring.
Our multi-functional CO gas sensor provides comprehensive protection as a carbon monoxide alarm and fire alarm, detecting harmful gas emissions from water heaters with insufficient combustion. The sensor integrates seamlessly with range hoods and various air quality detection instruments. It's an essential component for both household and commercial air purification systems, especially in underground parking facilities where car exhaust accumulates. Additionally, the sensor excels in automotive applications, monitoring in-vehicle air quality and supporting the car's fresh air purification system for healthier driving environments.
Instructions
- Once replaced and installed in your gas detector or analyzer, please let it sit for 24 hours so the sensor can stabilize to your environment. This step is very important.
- Then undertake the appropriate zero and calibration for your specific gas detector. See your gas detector manufacturer's specific instructions.
- Once calibrated, your gas analyzer will be ready for use.
